DIED - In McGregor, Sunday morning, February 8th, 1880, Louise, wife of Hans Stoltenberg, aged 33 years and one month.
The deceased was an excellent lady and dearly admired by all who had the good fortune to be acquainted with her. She had been sick for some months past with consumption, and realized that it was only a matter of time when the dreaded disease would accomplish its work. Through all her sickness she was patient and calm, only regretting that she must so soon part with the three little daughters, between two and ten years of age.
Bidding the husband and children farewell, and with an abiding faith in the Great Redeemer, she fell into a peaceful slumber, to join the two loved ones who preceeded her in that heaven where all is joy, peace and contentment.
The sympathy of all is with the sorrowing husband and motherless children. Her remains were taken to Davenport for interment on Tuesday evening.
