Elkader Register, Thur., 05 Feb. 1880. Garnavillo column.

The youngest daughter of Mrs. George Everest, (who resides on a farm west of town), was buried here on the 29th ult. She died of diphtheria. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Clark, of the Congregational church. The family have the sympathy of all in their great bereavement.

Note: 1880 mortality schedule names her as Margaret, age 6
