Elkader Register, Thur., 29 Jan. 1880.

DIED - At his residence in Monona, January 24th, 1880, Andrew Weir, aged 40 years.

The deceased was born in K__nburgh, Scotland, emigrating to this county some years ago. For the past two years he has been an almost constant sufferer, but he has now "passed to that bourne from whence no traveler ere returns," and where pain and suffering is not known. His brother arrived from Chicago, just in time to pay the last sad tribute to the dead.
