The infant child and only son of editor Cooley and wife died Sunday evening. It is thus that the death angel robs us of our loved ones, blasts our fondest hopes and darkens our homes with sorrow, and yet we are compelled to come to the conclusion that duty to the living bids us to look up and be hopeful - put our trust in the friend of little children. Funeral services were held Monday, conducted by Rev. Hestwood.
"He has gone, our little pet,
To that happy home above,
Gone from us, but he's with Jesus -
He is happy in His love."
