Elkader Register, Fri., 11 Mar. 1898. Garnavillo column.

Hannah, the 7 year old daughter of Jno. Stoeffler, of this place, died Saturday morning of convulsions. She was buried in the Catholic cemetery at this place, services being held at St. Joseph's. The heartfelt sympathies of the community are with the bereaved family in this affliction.

She was enumerated on the 1895 IA State census, Guttenberg, as a 5 y/o living in the household of her parents John P. & Mary Stoeffer, and numerous siblings. Although the death notice implies burial in the Garnavillo St. Joseph's cemetery, it's much more likely that she's buried in one of the Catholic cemeteries in Guttenberg (St. Mary's or Mt. Olivet) where many of her relatives are buried.
