William D. Meyer, the 16 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Meyer, of Cox Creek twp., died at Madison, Wis., on Thursday, Dec. 17. The young man had been sick almost the entire year with Bright's disease and last week started for Milwaukee for medical advice, attended by Dr. White. Growing worse on the train he was taken from the cars at Madison, where he died. He was born July 17, 1880, at the family residence in Cox Creek. The funeral was held at the Congregational church on Sunday last, Rev. F. W. Seifert preaching the sermon. The services were attended by a large number of the sympathizing friends of the family, who feel the heavy burden of grief laid upon them.
