Lyman Beaver, after a lingering illness, died at his home west of town last Sunday. He was born at Toronto, Canada, June 11th, 1842, making him 54 years, 5 months and 25 days old. He was married to Martha Cook in 1870. Four boys and one girl came from their union, only two boys being left to comfort the sorrowing mother. Mr. Beaver was known in the community in which he lived as a good, honest citizen. All sympathize with the family in this their hour of bereavement. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Sonner at the Baptist church on Tuesday. He spoke from Philippians 1:21.
