Elkader Register, Fri., 23 Oct. 1896.

Peter Stahlbaum, one of the old residents of Cox Creek township, died at his home Tuesday morning, at the age of 82 years. He leaves a family consisting of a wife and four children, two sons and two daughters. The funeral was held at Communia on Thursday.
