A German farmer living near Yellow River, named Roeser, was run over and killed by a freight train Saturday night. He was going home and was on a bridge above Northtown, but could not get across before the train struck him.

Joseph Roeser, called Muskrat, who sold his farm near this place to Christ Maker last spring and moved near Yellow River, was run over by the cars and killed at North McGregor Saturday.
