On Saturday last, Sept. 12th, Mr. and Mrs. John Toutsch were compelled to part with a little daughter, the last of the twins. The little one was too tender for this world of care and trouble. John is having a double portion of sickness and sorrow.

Note: Josephine & her twin sister Catherine (who died at birth) share a gravestone in St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Elkader
