Elkader Register, Fri., 04 Aug. 1896. Farmersburg column.

DIED - At her home in Farmersburg township, Saturday evening, August 29, May Buck, wife of August Buck, aged 57 years, 5 months and 19 days. May Stuffrohn was married to August Buck in 1861, and settled on a farm in Farmersburg township where she has since resided. She leaves a husband, three sons and six daughters to mourn her loss. The funeral was held at Garnavillo on Tuesday at 11 0'clock, Rev. Sommerlad officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at that place.
