Thomas H. Wison, an aged resident of Garnavillo twp., died here Sunday morning at the residence of James Harvey, where he has resided the past few weeks. He was born in Ohio and came to Iowa in 1849, settling on his farm in Garnavillo twp., in 1854. He was a good citizen and neighbor. His wife, Mary Scudder, and one daughter, Mary, are both dead, and one grandson and many friends mourn his departure. The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the M.E. church, the burial being at Garnavillo. Thus another pioneer goes to his long home.
