Clem Meder

Funeral services for Clem J. Meder of Garnavillo were held on Wed., June 21 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Garnavillo with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Elkader. Msgr. Ernest Ament officiated.

Mr. Meder, a retired farmer, passed away June 19, 1978 at his home in Garnavillo following a lingering illness. He attained the age of 86 years.

Clem J. Meder, son of Edwin Meder and Mary Groeney, was born Sept. 5, 1891 in Clayton Township.

He was married to Rebecca Masuen on Sept. 23, 1926 in St. Joseph's Church in Garnavillo.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca.
