Elkader Register, Thur., 21 Dec. 1893.

Died of inflammation of the lungs, after a short illness, at Guttenberg, on Tuesday, Dec. 12th, Wilhelmina, wife of Henry Schroeder. Deceased was born in Hagenow, Prussia, on Jan. 6th, 185_, came to America in August, 1864, and was married Nov. 9th, 1871. She is the mother of three boys and four girls. At the time of her death she held the office of secretary of Josephine lodge No. 7, degree of Rebekah. She was a kind and faithful wife and a loving mother. This sudden call of death causes a great sorrow in this community. - News.
