Elkader Register, Thur., 09 Nov. 1893.

At an early hour Friday morning, Nov. 3d, Frank L. Moyer, son of the late Samuel and Sarah Moyer, departed this life at the family residence in Elkader. Frank had been poorly for several days and during Thursday night was taken with an apoleptic fit which soon carried him off.

He was born in Elkader, Sept. 14, 1855, and was a little over 38 years of age at the time of his death. Genial, good-natured Frank, had many friends who are sad at the thought of his untimely death. He had his faults like the rest of the human family, but death having closed the record, let us hope his spirit has gained the haven of rest.

The funeral Saturday afternoon was largely attended by sympathizing friends of the family, and after services, by Rev. R. C. Lusk, the body was deposited by the side of his parents, in the East Side cemetery.
