Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Feb. 1893.

Mrs. Clara E. Bush, wife of E. A. Bush, of Osterdock, died Feb. 15th in the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago, where she had gone to secure medical treatment.

Mrs. Bush was born in Mallory township near Colesburg and was thirty-six years of age. October 14th, 1877, she was married to E. A. Bush, who with her two children, Amy and Frank, are left to mourn her death.

Mrs. Bush has been a great sufferer for some thirteen years from cirrhosis of the liver, which disease finally caused her death.

The funeral services occurred last Saturday in Bethel church, Rev. McNamee officiating., the interment being in Bethel cemetery. A large number of sympathizing friends and neighbors attended the final services for the dead.
