Harnack, Sadie, Libbie & Fred died 1894

Elkader Register, Thur., 06 Dec. 1894. Local columns.

Mr. and Mrs. John Harnack, living near Postville, lost three children within four days, by scarlet fever, the oldest aged 7 years dying Nov. 26th. The Clayton County friends of the family deeply feel their desolation.

Notes:
-The 1938 obit of Maggie (Thoma) Harnack, w/o John Harnack: "To this union were born 4 children, three of which passed on in infancy, namely Sadie, Libbie and Fred."

-The three children are buried in Postville cemetery, Area B:
Sadie: 1887 Jun 08 - 1894 Nov 26
Libbie: 1888 Nov 04 - 1894 Nov 22
Fritz / Fred: 1893 Feb 11 - 1894 Nov 22
