At McGregor, on Wednesday night of last week, occurred the death of Mrs. C. T. Peick, aged about 31 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Limbach, of Garnavillo, and a sister of Mrs. Chas. F. Leonard, of this place. Mrs. Peick was taken away so suddenly that her many friends fail to realize the blow that has fallen upon them. With the bereaved husband a little son five years old is left to mourn the loss of a mother's love and care. May the blow be tempered to the shorn lamb, and to the family. Her remains were taken to Garnavillo for burial.
