Elkader Register, Thur., 28 June 1894. Littleport column.

Mrs. L. H. Mahringer* passed from this world on the 20th last, after a lingering illness. Services were held at the Catholic church Thursday morning, Father Dollard officiating, after which the remains were taken to Guttenberg for interment. She leaves a sorrowing husband to mourn her loss.

Note: Margarethe, w/o Henry L. Marring, is buried in the Guttenberg City cemetery
