Hines, Azariah 1838 - 1894

Elkader Register, Thur., 31 May 1894.

At his home in Lodomillo twp., on May 24, occurred the death of Aseseic [sic] Hines. He was born in McLean County, Illinois, July 24, 1838, and was 55 years and 10 months old at the time of his death. Mr. Hines was a good citizen and a member of the church of Christ, which he joined last February and was a faithful member until death, "They that come in the 11th hour shall receive the same wages with those that come at the first." The cause of his death was measles. He leaves a wife and three children besides many relatives to mourn his loss. He sleeps in Jesus, let him rest.
