Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Mar. 1894. Clayton column.

C. Peterson's infant boy died last night. His grandmother Mrs. McGuire was caring for him, his mother having died this spring at this place.

Note: Jane (McGuire) Peterson, wife of Charles, died in Jan. 1894. Her obit stated she was survived by a 5 month old infant. Albert is buried in the Garnavillo cemetery with his mother. He has a gravestone.
