Cornelius Pratt had the misfortune to lose one of his children by death last Wednesday. It was sick with the measles and lung fever, which was more than the little one could stand. Mr. Pratt has ten more sick, including his wife and sister-in-law. At the present writing the balance of the family seem to be doing well. The afflicted family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
