Elkader Register, Thur., 14 May 1891.

DIED - At the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Klink, in Cox Creek township, on Tuesday, May 12, 1891, Frederick Claus, aged 89 years. Deceased was a native of Germany, but has resided in Clayton county for the past 30 years. His wife died shortly after removing to Iowa, but he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Peter Klink, and a son, Louis Claus, of Clayton. The funeral will take place to-day from the residence of Peter Klink.
