Elkader Register, Thur., 12 Mar. 1891. Local column.

The infant child of Mrs. L. E. Mayville, residing near Volga, was buried at this place on Friday last. Mrs. Mayville is a daughter of John Ehrhardt, of this township. They have the sympathy of many friends in their great sorrow.

Note: the obits of both Leonard & Lena (Ehrhardt) Mayville state that they had 6 children, all boys, 5 of them died in infancy.
