It was with sorrow that the word was passed around Tuesday morning that Mrs. Wm. Jellings had passed away at her home in the north end of town. Mrs. Jellings had been in poor health for a number of years. Sympathy goes out to her bereaved family especially to her aged father, brothers and sisters, as this is the second death in the family in one week, Mrs. Orrin Walters and Mrs. Jellings being sisters. Margaret Elizabeth Jellings was the eldest daughter of Thomas and Sarah Cummings. She was born at the old home farm about 2 1/2 miles west of Volga, March 6, 1881, and left her earthly home Aug. 14, 1923, being 42 years, 5 months and 8 days of age at the time of her death. She is survived by an adopted son, an aged father, two sisters and three brothers. She was united in marriage with Will Jellings Dec. 25, 1902. At an early age she united with the Christian church and always attended church services when her health permitted. She has been a patient sufferer for the past two years. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Rev. A. R. Smith officiating. Interment in Hill Crest Cemetery.
