Elkader Register, Thur., 26 July 1923. Strawberry Point column.
The death of Mrs. Geo. Cadwell occurred last Wednesday evening after many months of suffering. Mrs. Cadwell although a sufferer for some time, always was cheerful and enjoyed the visits from her many friends. She leaves one sister, Miss Elsie Martin of this place, who has given her the best of care, beside other relatives and friends, who mourn the loss of this good woman. Rev. Maxwell conducted short services at the home Friday morning, after which the remains accompanied by the sister, Miss Elsie Martin, Mr. and Mrs. Will Trezona and Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Nace, were taken to Waukon where other services and interment took place.
