Elkader Register, Thur., 24 May 1923.
Word was received here yesterday of the death of Rev. J. Burkhart of Jesup, Iowa. Rev. Burkhart was at one time pastor of the Evang. Luth. Zions church at Clayton Center. He will be laid to rest in the cemetery at St. Sebald.
