DIED at Monona May 2nd, 1858, Avis Stoav [or Story or Stonv], second daughter of Jedediah and Nancy J. Barker, aged 2 years and 10 months.

As well as the riper flowers,
A sweeter, holler fragrance they yield,
When nourished in heavenly bowers.

Not in his anger, Oh! not in his wrath;
Does he sever our cherished ties,
He wounds but to heal, he takes but to give
Us treasures and hopes in the skies."
