Grandma Schumacher died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Tangeman here this morning, February 1. Funeral services will be held at the house here Saturday at 12 o'clock. The remains will then be taken to Garnavillo where services will be held at the church and interment in the Garnavillo cemetery.

(Note: WPA records indicate Margarethe Schumacher, 1834 - 01 Feb. 1923, buried in Garnavillo cemetery.)
