The remains of Viola, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walter, of Farmersburg, were brought for burial to the United Brethren cemetery, Tuesday. She was taken sick with scarlet fever and died after a week's illness. The many friends deeply sympathize with the bereaved parents in this untimely death.

Scarlet fever took its first toll from our community when after days of severe suffering the soul of little Viola Alice Hattie Walters was called home on the evening of Feb. 18th. She was the daughter of Frank Walters and Alma Walters, nee Kurth. Born the 9th of August, 1914, and received unto the kingdom of her Savior through the sacrament of holy baptism, August 30th, 1914. She leaves her mourning parents and grandparents, two brothers, Alvin and Eldo, and one baby sister, Elma. She was three years, six months and nine days old and laid to rest in the beautiful United Brethren cemetery in Wagner, Feb. 19th, Rev. Braun of the Lutheran church officiating.
