Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 17 Jan. 1918. Strawberry Point column.
The death of Mrs. Niedermeyer, past ninety years of age, occurred at her home last Saturday. The funeral services were held from the Lutheran church at St. Sebald, Monday, conducted by Rev. Fuehr, and burial took place in the cemetery at St. Sebald.
(Note: WPA records indicate Barbara Niedermeier, 1825 - 12 Jan. 1918, buried in St. Sebald cemetery.)
