Elkader Register & Argus, 25 Jan. 1917.

Harry Kling* was born November 24th, 1914, in Cox Creek township, and was the son of Louis Kling and Minnie Kling, nee Meyer.

He passed away January 23rd, 1917, at the age of 2 years, 2 months, after an illness that lasted four weeks. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Milton , Leslie and Leo, and two sisters, Melvina and Ethel, besides his grandfather, John F. Meyer.

The funeral was held today at 12 o'clock m., at the Ev. Frieden's church, Rev. A. H. Franke officiating. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Note: cemetery records give surname as KLINK, rather than Kling
