Miss Anna E. Knudtson, aged about 65 years, who resided between Elkader and St. Olaf, was found dead in the yard Sunday morning where she had evidently endeavored to care for her cow. She lived alone. Dr. W. A. Miller was called and being evident that the lady had died from apoplexy or heart failure, no inquest was deemed necessary. The funeral services were held Tuesday at the Norway church, Rev. Arveson officiating.
