GARBER: Mrs. James Hunt passed away Tuesday after a very short illness. She was 65 years of age. She is survived by her husband, two daughters and one son. Burial was made Friday.

Mrs. James Hunt, nee Rebecca Hyde, 65 years old, passed away at her home in Mallory township on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1934. Mrs. Hunt was born on a farm in Mallory township, Clayton county, on July 16, 1868. Her entire ambitious and true Christian life was spent in this community. She is survived by her husband, three children, Merrill Hunt, Oakland, Calif.; Foy Hunt, Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. John Wolf, Dubuque; five step-children; a number of grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters, and numerous other relatives and friends, who will all sadly miss her. Funeral services were held at the Goshen church Friday afternoon, with interment in the Goshen cemetery*. The funeral was largely attended.

*Correct burial place is Bethel cemetery. She has a gravestone in that cemetery and her death certificate also gives Bethel cemetery as place of burial.
