Clayton County Register, Thur., 22 Feb. 1934. Monona column.

Frank H. Klinkel died Wednesday afternoon at his home south of Monona, after an illness of many months. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Della Dull Klinkel, and two sons, Harold C. Klinkel of Monona, and Donald F. Klinkel of Winfield, Iowa; two sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the home, and at 2:15 from the First Methodist church in Monona, with burial in the city cemetery.

Mr. Klinkel was an honest, upright man, a good neighbor and a kind friend. During his illness he was a patient sufferer, thoughtful of the loved ones near him. His wife and sons did all that could be done for him, but his time was there. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to them.
