Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Juran, (nee Johanna Fink), 83 years old and former Guttenberg resident, were conducted by the Rev. Father J. Schmidt, at the Catholic church at North Buena Vista last Thursday morning with interment in the Catholic cemetery there. The funeral was largely attended. Mrs. Juran was born in Austria on March 28, 1850, and was married there in 1875 to Mr. Joseph Juran, who preceded her in death on July _0, 192_. In the year 1___ the family came to America and settled in clayton county, Iowa. For a time they also resided in South Dakota. She is survived by six sons: Ferdinand, of South Dakota; ____, Rudolph and John, of North Buena Vista; Ber____ and Leo___ld, of St. Paul, Minn., and numerous other relatives and friends, who will all sadly miss this worthy mother.
