Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Sept. 1904. McGregor column.

Mrs. Elizabeth Wood died last Thursday, aged 70. She was stricken with apoplexy and was unconscious until her death, which occurred in about twelve hours. Her sons and daughters, with the exception of the eldest, who is Mrs. Ella Foster and lives in Washington, were present at the funeral. Rev. G. A. Francis officiated, Saturday. Will, of Des Moines, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Morris, of Chicago, were here.
