Elkader Register, Thur., 21 July 1904.

Mrs. Anna Meyer was born in Germany in 18_2 (looks like 1842) and died at her home in Read township Tuesday afternoon, July 19th, 1904. She came to America in 1872 and in 1873 was united in marriage with Christ Ihde. Six children were born to them, five of whom survive. In 1887, having been left a widow for some time, she was married to Fritz Meyer, who died about three years ago. The funeral was held this morning at Read.
