Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Aug. 1902. Garnavillo column.

DIED- Saturday morning at his home in south Garnavillo, Frederick Rubach at the advanced age of 82 years. The deceased had been failing for some time, so his death was not unexpected. Mr. Rubach has been a resident of Garnavillo for the past fourteen years, and during his residence has made numerous friends who together with his wife, mourn his loss. Funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon, at St. Peters church, conducted by Rev. Bunge, interment in the new cemetery.
