John A. Fest has been informed that Henry B. Floeder, a former well known and respected citizen of Guttenberg, died on his farm near Dalhart, Texas. On Monday evening, August 9th, accompanied by his children, he went to get water at a windmill a mile from his house. While oiling the gearing he fell to the ground 26 feet below. His ribs and breast bone were broken and the back part of his skull was fractured. The children reported the accident, whereupon he was taken to the house and a physician summoned, but he never regained consciousness and died the following morning.
He is survived by his wife and three children. He moved to Dalhart about a year and a half ago. He was a member of the local R.C.M.P. society and carried $1000 life insurance.
