Elkader Register, Thur., 17 Apr. 1902.

Carolina Sophia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Baker, died Sunday of brain fever. The little one was born Jan. 15th, 1902, and during its short life had entwined her personality in the hearts of her sorrowing parents.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon, Rev. G. W. Baxter officiating.

(Note: In addition to the named parents, a card of thanks was also signed by Mrs. Wm. Wolter and family.)
