Adam Parker, who accompanied his mother's body from Pipestone, Minn., was taken with a severe cold and was unable to attend the funeral service. Mesdames Jas. Thomas and Ed Meldrum were also unable to attend the service. They are all getting better now.
The funeral of Mrs. H. H. Parker, who died in Pipestone, Minn., was held at the congregational church in Monona, Sunday, Rev. S. T. Beatty officiating. Mrs. Parker moved to Clayton County in 1854. She resided in Monona until 1890 and leaves many friends here who mourn the loss of a faithful, devoted, Christian woman.

Mrs. E. G. Boynton, of Black River Falls, Wis., was visiting in town Monday. She had been to Monona to bury her mother, Mrs. Parker.
