Hon. H. B. Taylor, died at his residence in this place, on the 9th inst., aged 47 years. About a year ago the deceased was stricken with epileptic fits, and for some time was obliged to keep his house. On the 1st of July last his health not improving, he with his family went to Colorado, but this trip did not improve his health and he returned home. His health kept failing, and on Thursday evening he died. The deceased was an energetic, honorable business man, highly respected in this community and will be greatly missed by all. He has been doing an extensive business in agricultural implements for a number of years. In his death the town has met a great loss, his wife, a kind and loving companion, and his children a fond and indulgent parent. The funeral occurred on Saturday from the Baptist church, Rev. Amsden officiating. A large concourse of friends and relatives followed the remains to their resting place.
