The death of Mr. Willard Knight, news of which was received here this morning (although not unexpected), brings sadness to the hearts of many of his old friends, who have known him for many years. He has been a great sufferer for months, from a complication of diseases, of which heart disease was the most distressing and fatal. Mr. Knight was a good man, a friend and neighbor in every sense of the word, and a man universally esteemed. He leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn their irreparable loss.
