Elkader Register, Thur., 13 Mar. 1879.

DIED - At La Crescent, Minn., on the evening of March 7th, 1879, of inflammation of the bowels, Mamie Ehrlich, daughter of Charles W. and Mary Ehrlich.

Mamie was a bright promising little girl aged 8 years, 9 months and 9 days, the joy and pride of the household, and her loss a sad bereavement to her fond parents. The remains were brought to Elkader on Saturday for interment; the funeral on Sunday was attended by relatives and friends of the family, who assisted in the last sad rites of consigning the little body to its last resting place.
