Elkader Register, Thur., 13 Mar. 1879. Garnavillo column.

Last Thursday, the funeral of Mrs. Louis Meyer occurred here. She died after a brief illness, though for several years in delicate health. She leaves a husband and three little girls to mourn their irreparable loss. She was a kind wife, an affectionate mother and good neighbor.
