On Friday last the remains of Henry Behnke, the well known carpenter, was found in the cornfield of his nephew, Adolph Elvers, in Cox Creek twp. The condition of the body indicated that he had died several days previous, and he had not been seen since the Monday or Tuesday. Justice Lange held an inquest and the conclusion of the jury was that Mr. Behnke died from natural causes. Deceased was born in Germany and was about 65 years of age. He came to this county about twenty years ago. The remains were buried on Friday last at Mederville.
