Elkader Register, Thur., 05 Oct. 1899. Elkport and Vicinity column.

DIED- Friday Sept. 29, 1899, Theresa McMorrow, daughter of Michael L. and Mary McMorrow, aged 27 years, 4 months and 29 days, of consumption. The deceased was born and raised in Elk twp., and was greatly beloved by all who knew her. The funeral took place Sunday and was one of the largest ever held at Elkport. The burial took place at the Catholic graveyard, Rev. Minogue officiating. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
