The funeral of Mr. James Wilson was held here Friday. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hutchins, Algona. Mr. Wilson will be remembered as a resident of McGregor until about 1890, for many years keeper of the Wilson restaurant. He was born August 11, 1807, on the same day as Grandma Buck, whom he survived two weeks. His son, J. A., from Hull, his daughter, Mrs. Hutchins, and granddaughter, Clara Hamilton, of Algona, were here to attend the funeral.
