Lewin, Ernastine 1869 - 1899

Mrs. John Lewin died at the home of her mother Mrs. Lewin, west of town, on Saturday morning. Mrs. Lewin had gone to the homme of her mother some time ago and while there had been taken so seriously ill that she was unable to return home. The direct cause of her death was consumption. Mrs. Lewin leaves a sorrowing mother, a sister, a husband and seven children to mourn her death. She was buried in the cemetery at Ceres on Monday, Rev. O. Gammelin officiating.

(Note: WPA records show Ernastine Lewin, 1869 - 1899, buried in Pioneer Rock cemetery.)
